The Ableton Live DJ course provides a comprehensive understanding of the software’s features and settings, enabling students to effectively use it for on-stage mixing. Additionally, the course covers topics such as MIDI mapping efficiency, cross-fading, and application configuration. Whether you have prior experience with the software or are a complete novice, this course equips you with detailed knowledge that can significantly boost your DJing career.

During the course, you will learn to transform a blank Ableton Live project into a reusable template and master the technique of warping songs to make them mixable.

Course Details:

• Duration: 1 month (thrice a week) with 90 minutes per session. Additional classes may be provided if the faculty seems it necessary for better understanding.
• Prerequisites: No prior knowledge or qualifications are required, although any existing knowledge can aid in grasping the concepts more easily.

• Understand audio effect racks, including using presets, EQ, parallel processing, and performance effect racks.
• Learn about controllers and MIDI mapping, with a focus on the APC40 interface.
• Explore features like follow actions, legato mode, launch modes, and launching clips in performance.
• Set up effects for optimal performance and configure the crossfader.
• Map controllers effectively.
• Learn to record your DJ sets.
• Receive tips and advice on self-promotion and preparing for professional gigs.
• Understand how to create a compelling DJ profile.
